A Childhood Wish Fulfilled in 21 days
“Some dreams stay quietly in the heart for years… until one day, life gives you the chance to bring them to life. This was one of those dreams.”
A Dream That Waited for Years
Ever since I was a child, I’ve had a longing—a silent wish to wear the Govinda mala and surrender myself in devotion through a spiritual journey. Life kept moving, priorities shifted, but this wish quietly stayed with me. And finally, in November 2024, I decided it was time to fulfill it.

The Beginning: A Spiritual Commitment
On November 2nd, 2024, I began my 21-day deeksha. From that moment on, my life took on a rhythm of devotion. I wore the sacred Govinda mala, and with it came discipline, purpose, and peace.
Each day began with early morning pooja and ended with the simple yet humbling tradition of biksha. This wasn’t just a routine—it was a surrender of the mind and ego. It brought me closer to something beyond the material world.

The Journey Inward
The 21 days weren’t just about external rituals—they were a journey inward. With each passing day, I felt lighter, calmer, and more aligned. I learned patience, devotion, silence, and the power of daily discipline. Even amidst my busy life as a designer and creative, I carved time out each day for my spiritual practice.

The Grand Finale: Tirumala Darshan
And then, the moment I had visualized for years—darshan at Tirumala and Alivelu Mangapuram. Wearing the mala, walking to the temple, and standing in front of Lord Venkateswara—it was overwhelming in the most beautiful way. I couldn’t stop the tears. It was gratitude, surrender, and bliss, all at once.

What This Journey Gave Me
This wasn’t just a ritual. It changed me.
- It gave me inner stillness in a chaotic world.
- It deepened my connection with the divine.
- It reminded me of the strength that comes from faith and surrender.
- And most of all—it gave me the joy of fulfilling a childhood dream.
